So the summer was shocking...it was like monsoon season for a while there!!! But in the past month things have been looking up...little late but..better late than never..?
The beach got a couple of visits from myself and my son, who was starting to doubt if had the seasons right at all..as i hadn't been to the beach for the entire summer i said we would build a really cool sand-castle...the fact that i am a ridiculous perfectionist only sprung to mind half way through the project..needless to say after 35 mins my very patient 7 year old said 'um mammy can i go and play anythin else'... an hour of my life later i was very proud of my creation...and my gorgeous son came back to take all the praise from passers by..
The fabulous weather of late has also gave way to a large number of visits to the coastline of west cork...kinsale, the old head and little bays like rocky bay and roberts cove. I still havn't converted from my love of the beaches and coves in wexford but while in this end of the country the stretch of coastline down there is a great day out...!!!
